Toughest thing....

Jake's confession, Kaye's reaction, all the hidden lies for years......toughest chapters to write!

There is so much to tell!

Progress....

Writing this book, I fell in love with all my characters.  I have struggled with the story and betrayal of the main characters. To realize that these were real people, breaks my heart.  I'm am feverishly working to finish the story.  I want you to read it.  Please continue to follow my progress.  :)

New Teaser.....

"I leaned in to Jake and kissed his cheek.  He shuddered at my touch.  I sat perfectly still with my lips close to his cheek for a few seconds.  He turned his head and his nose grazed my cheek.  I couldn't move.  I was frozen right there with our faces touching.  I felt fire rush through my body.  Oh God, what was happening?  I couldn't think.  I felt Jake's hand brush my arm.  His movements were slow and sensual.  I closed my eyes.  Chills spread over me. I still couldn't move.  We sat there faces touching, his hand rubbing my arm for what seemed like hours.  I finally opened my eyes and looked at him.  His gaze was intoxicating.   He had such love in his look.  I had the sudden urge to kiss him, but didn't.  He slowly pulled his head away and I felt a tinge of sadness."

Thinking.....

Back from vacation and trying to choose a new teaser to post this week.  Hmm....decisions, decisions!  I love writing!  :)

Going to Cabo and writing......

I'm going to sit on the beach for the next seven days, think about my characters and WRITE! WRITE! WRITE!  Stay tuned......

Setting.....these two couples live on the island of St. John, where the husbands are in business together.

"One evening, I sat out on the beach.  It was getting late, but I just needed some time to myself.  I was feeling disconnected from Rob and it scared me.  Every time I tried to talk to my husband about it, he didn't take it seriously.  He would just say, "We're fine, babe.  I'm sorry I've been so busy.  Things will get better." I tried to believe that was true.

As I lay there in the sand, I felt someone walk up next to me.  It was just past dusk and getting darker by the minute.  I looked up and saw Jake standing there.  He was smiling and looked incredible.  Claire was a lucky woman.  Jake was very handsome and very attentive."
